Accessibility:
Total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles. Workday will take place off trail in tall vegetation but on relatively level terrain. Any recent rain may create muddy conditions.
Restrooms are not available here.
Weather/Attire/Other:
Comfortable walking shoes or boots are recommended. Please bring a water bottle. Dress for the weather; hats, gloves, and layers are highly encouraged as the park is particularly exposed to lakefront winds.
Location and Transportation:
Meet at the stone bridge dividing the lagoon. Free parking is available on the street. Riis Park is accessible by public transit via the #74 and #86 CTA busses.
Public Health:
Please bring a face mask with you. You may be asked to wear it as needed by the trip leader.
