Birds & Bytes: A Journey of Discovery with Peregrine Falcons

A Year of the Peregrine Falcon program

Virtual Program

Once highly endangered, Peregrine Falcons are now a species recovery success story. But this didn’t happen on its own or overnight. The work that was done to bring these birds back from the brink continues today and their success has taught us much about how we might guide other species to a similar conclusion. Join us as we hear from author and wildlife biologist, Sophie Osborn, about her journey with Peregrine Falcons and other work being done to save endangered birds in the U.S.

All are welcome to attend this free event but RSVP is required.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Her chronicle of that experience, "Condors in Canyon Country," won the 2007 National Outdoor Book Award for Nature and the Environment.
