LaBagh Woods Bird Walk

Join Larry "Skillethead" Krutulis and take advantage of his detailed knowledge of this premier Chicago birding hotspot. Beginning birders welcome and loaner binoculars will be available.

We are limiting this walk to 6 people. In the interest of fairness, please DO NOT sign up for more than TWO walks in the LaBagh series!

Pre-registration is required. Please contact Larry (nuthatch75@yahoo.com) at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend or with questions.

Accessibility:
Total trip distance is approximately 1 mile. Trail is a combination of dirt and gravel and has significant elevation changes throughout.

Weather/Attire/Other:
Wear boots-- we will likely go off-trail.

Location and Transportation:
Larry will contact participants a few days prior to this walk to give a specific meeting place.
Free parking is available in the forest preserve parking lots. Public transit to site is available via the Cicero Ave. (route 54A) and Foster Ave. (route 92) busses.

COVID:
In order to attend you must be FULLY VACCINATED. Please bring a face mask with you. You may be asked to wear it as needed by the trip leader.
