Join IndiGo Birding Nature Tours guide David Rupp for a birding field trip through the Palos region of southwestern Cook County. The trip is designed to find a lot of waterfowl species, but we will appreciate and observe all birds we encounter. We will meet at Saganashkee Slough, then proceed to the Sag Quarries, Tampier Lake, McGinnis Slough, and end at the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center if time permits. We will drive from place to place, birding from the parking lot or going on short walks to get better vantage points. Bring a spotting scope if you have one, but David will have two scopes to share.
Leader: David Rupp
