Join COS for an owl prowl at Park 566. We will look for owls of all kinds but will focus on finding Short-eared Owls that are seen there frequently.

Beginning birders welcome and loaner binoculars will be available! Total trip distance is approximately 1 mile. Trails are often unpaved and muddy so sturdy, waterproof footwear is strongly recommended. Please dress aggressively for the weather with multiple layers as temperatures can drop rapidly after sunset and owling is frigid business. Flashlights permitted but not required.
