We have entered a golden age of bio-logging. Technological advances have led to an explosion in the amount of data we are collecting on bird movement and our understanding of bird migration. In this Birds and Bytes session, Mikko Jimenez will talk about the Migratory Bird Initiative and BirdCast – two exciting projects that typify how we can use different types of tracking and remote sensing data to inform migratory bird conservation efforts.
All are welcome to attend this free event but RSVP is required.
