Eagle Creek Park, Indianapolis Overnight Trip

We'll start early at Eagle Creek Park, one of Indy's most birdy hotspots! Local guide Spike Selig will help us find our targets: Barred Owl, Carolina Chickadee, Red-shouldered Hawk, Pileated Woodpecker, White-eyed Vireo and if we're lucky, even Fish Crow! We may see a good amount of warblers as well. Once that walk winds up, we'll head to a place called "The Burn" to look for migrating Smith's Longspurs. It is about an hour northwest of Eagle Creek and on the way home to Chicago.

We recommend staying overnight on Friday. Once you sign up we can give you some ideas for hotels if you need.

There is no limit for this trip but please fill out one sign up form per person so we can get an accurate count! Thanks!
