North Pond Wednesday Bird Walks

  • North Pond Casting Pier 2430 N Cannon Dr Chicago, IL, 60614 United States (map)

Join a group of nature enthusiasts and bird watchers for a morning walk around North Pond led by veteran birder Geoff Williamson of Third Coast Birding. We will look for birds (and other creatures) on a leisurely circle around the pond, and afterwards we'll review what we've seen from the comfort of the Nature Museum. Meet at 7:00 AM on the casting pier at the south end of the pond (just west of the museum). The walks last about two hours. Bring a pair of binoculars and dress appropriately for the weather. All ages and experience levels welcome. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars.

Leader: Geoff Williamson

No RSVP required. Please contact Geoff (geoff@thirdcoastbirding.com) with any questions.
