Join us at this top urban birding hotspot as we embark on a short walk to look for Humboldt Park's summer residents, including Wood Ducks, Killdeer, Northern Flickers, Eastern Kingbirds, and Barn Swallows.
Then at 10 a.m. we'll join the Humboldt Park steward for a workday in which we help improve the natural areas so important to these breeding birds. Workday activities might include pulling invasive plants or picking up litter. No experience or equipment is required. Gloves and other needed tools will be provided.

Restrooms are available at the field house when it opens at 10 AM.
