Bird one of Chicago's hotspots at the peak of migration with IndiGo Birding Nature Tours guide David Rupp. We will circle the wetlands and survey the trees for singing warblers and all other birds we can find. All levels of birders are welcome on this 2-mile birding walk.
Leaders: David Rupp
Please contact David Rupp (david@indigobirding.com) or Christina Harber (ceharber@yahoo.com) at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend or to be added to a waitlist.
Accessibility:
Total trip distance is approximately 2 miles and will take place mostly on wide paved, crushed-gravel, or wood-chip trails that are relatively level with minimal incline. We may leave the trail at times to walk through the grass for a better view of the birds. Any recent rain may create muddy conditions.
Restrooms are available in the Field House after it opens at 9 AM.
Weather/Attire/Other:
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Please bring bottled water. Dress for the weather. Based on the forecast, you may want to bring a hat and sunscreen and possibly a light jacket. Loaner binoculars will be available.

The exact meeting location will be emailed in advance to registrants. Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is also accessible by public transit via the 70, 72, and 94 bus routes.
Public Health:
Please bring a face mask with you. You may be asked to wear it as needed by the trip leader.
