6pm: all ages, family friendly hike
7pm: adult hike
In partnership with the Chicago Park District, join us for back to back guided walks through the preserve in search of owls! The 6pm hike is an all ages, family friendly hike. The 7pm hike is open to all, but geared toward an adult audience.
Beginning birders welcome! Total trip distance is approximately 1 mile walking. Trails are combination of crushed gravel and mulch. Please dress aggressively for the weather with multiple layers as temperatures can drop rapidly after sunset and owling is frigid business. Flashlights permitted but not required.
