Virtual Program
National Audubon Society started the Audubon Mural Project in 2014 to bring attention to North American bird species that are threatened by climate change. The public art initiative, which started in New York City, arrived in Chicago in 2016 and has spread across the country. Meet three artists who have created bird murals in the Chicago area. Learn about the inspiration for their murals, the process of creating a mural, and how they created their murals in their unique artistic style.
Presenting Artists: Ruben Aguirre, Cheri Charlton, and Shawn Bullen
