Attention Chicago area BIPOC birders and nature lovers! Join COS on a bird walk!
Rainbow Beach is a south side gem that contains a variety of habitats that can host a variety of birds. We’ll look for sparrows and grassland birds in the dunes, shorebirds on the beach, waterfowl in the lake, and other birds such as thrushes, woodpeckers, and early migrating warblers in the trees. Beginning birders are welcome and we will have extra binoculars available.
This field trip is for people who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). Please respect this intention.
