Join IndiGo Birding Nature Tours guide David Rupp for a walk around Humboldt Park. The park boasts a nice variety of habitats, but the best birding is usually around the lagoon and wetlands. We'll walk the open trails in search of sparrows, kinglets, and other late migrants and also survey the lagoon for waterfowl, herons, and other water birds. All levels of birders welcome. Plan on two hours, but you can leave earlier (or stay later!) if desired. Meet in the main parking lot at the boathouse on the east side of Humboldt Dr.
Leader: David Rupp

Accessibility:
Total trip distance is approximately 2 miles and will take place mostly on wide paved, crushed-gravel, or wood-chip trails that are relatively level with minimal incline. We may leave the trail at times to walk through the grass for a better view of the birds. Any recent rain may create muddy conditions.
Restrooms are available at the field house after 9:00 a.m
