Building a Bird Safe Chicago

  • Peggy Notebaert Museum 2430 North Cannon Drive Chicago, IL, 60614 United States (map)

Co-hosted by Chicago Ornithological Society and Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Come and learn how you can be a part of saving migration!!

An amazing migration of bird life takes place through the United States every year.  However, up to a billion birds are killed every year in window collisions.  Join Annette Prince, Director of Chicago Bird Collision Monitors and Carl Giometti, architect and president of the Chicago Ornithological Society as they discuss the bird-safe building laws that are currently being developed in Chicago and around the region as well as how to become a bird-safe building advocate. Join us at 6:00 for light refreshments and to tour the museum’s “Our House” exhibit.  The presentation will begin at 6:30.

Although not required to attend, please RSVP at this link to let us know you are coming so that we can make sure to have enough refreshments:
