Lincoln Park Zoo is approximately 35 acres in the heart of Chicago, situated on the Lake Michigan shore. Due to it's variety of habitats and proximity to the lake shore spotting virtually any species of migrant is possible in the zoo or adjacent property.
We will start by working our way around the South Pond at Nature Boardwalk and then move north through the zoo exploring all the nooks and crannies that often harbor migrant warblers, sparrows, vireos, and thrushes.
This will be an easy walk as we will stay on paved paths and boardwalks.
Meet under the People's Gas Pavilion at Nature Boardwalk at 7 am.
