Introducing Tweets and Eats

Birds & Beers meets bird walks…a birding hangout!

COS is thrilled to introduce our latest program, Tweets and Eats!

Tweets and Eats will put a more social edge on our typical bird walks. Roughly each month, we'll have a small itinerary of places that we'll bird as a group. At the end of the morning of birding, we'll patronize a local restaurant or brewery and celebrate (or laugh, or brag) about the birds we saw.

The goal of Tweets and Eats is to foster a low-key, social birding group. No strict start time, no RSVPs, these events will just be a bunch of wandering people trying to see cool birds.

Through the Tweets and Eats GroupMe, we will provide up-to-date info on where the group is, as well as any spur of the moment audibles. For each outing, we'll have local experts to guide folks around. Hopefully, as this grows and people get to know each other, we can carpool or team up and suggest itineraries.
