Trip Report: 2019 May 14 - Jarvis Bird Sanctuary
A group of 12 folks birded with COS at Jarvis Bird Sanctuary this morning. The winds were mild by the lake and some new migrants definitely showed up! We had 14 species of warbler, including good looks at Bay-breasted, Blackburnian, Cape May and Chestnut-sided. Some bright Baltimore Orioles showed off for us, as did some Indigo Buntings. And a Black-Crowned Night-heron sat right out in the sun for us, too...
We had 48 species overall and now some folks know about a sweet new urban birding spot!
