Celebrate Illinois Plover Day!

On October 28, Governor Pritzker signed the proclamation making November 18, 2019 officially Illinois Piping Plover day. While entirely symbolic, it’s an acknowledgement from the highest office in the state that what happened this summer at Montrose Beach was nothing short of historic and that the efforts of everyone involved deserves to be honored. In order to properly celebrate, plover partners from across the board have joined forces once again to bring you everything from film screenings, opportunities for action, and a happy hour. Check out the list below, consider joining us, and check back regularly for new additions to the list.
