COS Co-Sponsoring Bird Art and Photography Exhibit to Benefit Illinois Audobon

Bird Art/Photography Exhibit Runs Aug. 15-29 at Erehwon Store in Bannockburn

COS is co-sponsoring a special exhibit of bird art and photography by Chicago-area artists. The exhibit will run August 15-29 at the Erehwon Mountain Outfitters store in suburban Bannockburn to raise conservation awareness. The Birds of Lake/Cook Counties Benefit Invitational Art and Photography Exhibitis also sponsored by Erehwon Mountain Outfitters, Illinois Audubon Society and its Lake/Cook Chapter.

All profits from the sale of the prints as well as select Erehwon products will be donated to the Illinois Audubon Society (www.illinoisaudubon.org), the state’s oldest private conservation organization and an active land trust that has saved more than 3,000 acres of land throughout Illinois as well as conducting outreach and education to protect native plants, animals and the habitats that support them.

Participating artists are known for the beauty of their work, their contributions to the community, and their commitment to conservation. They have graciously agreed to donate a license to their materials for this exhibit. Erehwon Mountain Outfitters is located at 2585 Waukegan Road,  n Bannockburn Green Shopping Center, on the corner of Waukegan Road and Route 22. Hours areMon-Fri. 10-8, Sat. 10-6, and Sun. 11-5.  A show closing event will be held on the final evening, Thursday Aug. 29th, from 7pm til 10pm.
