The Full Details

COS is a volunteer-run organization that conducts bird conservation and research projects across Chicagoland. To ensure these projects and the volunteers that run them have the resources they need to continue this important work for years to come, we are hosting a fundraiser at Bassline on Saturday, June 22 at 5pm. This event will feature live music by The Sam Burckhardt Quartet, raffles, silent auctions, and the company of fellow bird and nature enthusiasts. Every dollar raised will be going directly into COS’s bird conservation projects.

Admission and Raffle Tickets
Minimum donation for admission to the event is $10. Admission and tickets can be either purchased online or in person. Tickets purchased in advance online come at a slight discount. Admission and tickets purchased on the day of can be paid with either cash, card, or venmo.

Schedule
5:00pm - Doors open, live music
5:45pm - Intermission and special announcements
6:15pm - Live music
7:00pm - Raffle and auction bidding closes
7:15pm - Raffle and auction winners announced

Raffle and Silent Auction
We have an unbelievable lineup of items that will be raffled or auctioned off at the event including original artwork, birding experiences, books, event tickets, prize packages from local retailers, event exclusive merch and MUCH more. In addition to the raffle tickets that come with your admission, more tickets can be purchased online or at the event. You must be present to bid on raffle/auction items and to claim prizes.

Food and Drink
Drinks are available for purchase at the venue via a cash bar. Food is not available at the venue but many restaurants serving a variety of fare are within a short walking distance.

What We’re Supporting

What is COS doing to conserve birds? A lot! Conservation is not free or cheap, but we pride ourselves on being a lean and efficient organization that stretches your donations as far as they can go.
